German defence electronics maker Hensoldt HAGG.DE on Thursday reported a 7% decrease in orders in the first nine months of 2023 compared with the same period last year, as 2022's high base was boosted by the Eurofighter jet and F126 frigate orders.

Deutsche Pfandbriefbank slumps after profit warning
Shares in Deutsche Pfandbriefbank (pbb) were on track for their worst day in six months after the German lender late on Tuesday lowered its full-year profit forecast and said it would not pay out a special dividend.
The bank said it now expects annual pre-tax earnings of 90-110 million euros ($96-117 million), slashing previous guidance of 170-200 million, citing prolonged weakness in commercial real estate.
Fraport Q3 core profit beats estimates as passenger numbers rebound
Frankfurt Airport operator Fraport on Tuesday reported a 14% rise in third-quarter core profit, citing a rebound in passenger traffic during the European summer, driving its shares higher in morning trade.
The group said its earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose to 478.1 million euros ($512.05 million) in the quarter from 420.3 million a year earlier, beating analysts’ average forecast of 449.9 million euros, according to LSEG data.
Swisscom trims revenue guidance on currency impact, lower hardware sales
Swisscom slightly lowered its full-year revenue guidance on Thursday, citing a strong Swiss franc and lower hardware sales in Switzerland, driving its shares down more than 3%.
“The market is somewhat surprised as this is rather unusual for Swisscom,” Research Partners analyst Reto Huber wrote in an email, adding however that the altered guidance was “not a cause for concern”.
German meal-kit firm HelloFresh reports drop in Q3 core profit
German meal-kit maker HelloFresh (HFGG.DE) on Thursday reported lower than expected third-quarter core earnings and a decline in customer numbers, a day after announcing a 150 million euro ($158 million) buyback of shares and certain convertible bonds.
The stock was seen down 2.8% in early Frankfurt trade.
Quarterly adjusted core profit (AEBITDA) came in at 69.2 million euros, down 3.7% year-on-year, and slightly below analysts' average estimate of 70.0 million euros.
